The Challenge

Create a typographic brand piece that communicates a personal identity in a clear and visually compelling way — without relying on imagery. The brand needed to express discipline, confidence, and resilience through type alone.

The Solution

A bold typographic composition built on the phrase "Built by Faith" — using repetition for rhythm, strong hierarchy to anchor the focal point, and a minimalist pink palette that lets the typography carry all the visual impact.

Five PMS colors — hot pink, near-black, white, blush, and peach — create a palette that reads feminine and bold in equal measure. The type system pairs Inter for body copy, Arial Rounded MT Bold for headlines, Arial Black for the primary logo mark, and Allura Regular as a flowing script accent.

Six logo variations cover the full range of use cases — two classic wordmarks pairing Arial Black with the Allura script (one in black, one in pink), a reversed white-on-dark version, and three bold all-caps stacked lockups in pink, black, and dark-field, each paired with the tagline "commitment and confidence."

In-Context Brand Display

The brand poster shown at gym scale on a concrete column — demonstrating real-world environmental presence. Twelve designs across six front-and-back concepts — exploring weight, color blocking, and typographic hierarchy in landscape format. Backs consistently carry hello@builtbyfaith.co, builtbyfaith.co, and the tagline "commitment and confidence" in the pink Allura script.

Five stationery pieces on a consistent white ground with restrained pink accents — two letterhead formats, a full-page branded paper with a pink left sidebar and ghost "faith" watermark, and a thank-you card set with a large Allura script front and the brand message on the reverse.

Brand Applied to Product

The brand system applied across a full activewear and accessories line — demonstrating real-world versatility on product. A pink sports bra and leggings set carries the white wordmark on the back. A sand hoodie features the bold all-caps pink stacked lockup with "commitment and confidence" below. White and black trucker and dad cap variations show the brand at front and three-quarter angle.
